Chemical Industries announces the start of the production of liquid ammonia from KEMA 2

The Egyptian Chemical Industries Company (Kima) said that Kima2 plant to work with natural gas received last Sunday morning the first production of liquid ammonia.

The company said in a statement to the Egyptian Stock Exchange on Tuesday that it is preparing a unit for the production of urea preferred for operation.

The company posted a loss of 17.7 million pounds during the period July 2018 to March, compared to a profit of 97.2 million pounds in the comparative period of the current fiscal year.

The company's sales during the period amounted to LE 261.1 million compared to sales of LE 477.6 million during the comparable period of 2017-2018.
